Traditional dried and fried Italian peppers.
Instructions
- String peppers to hang in dry in a cool, dry place (like Nonni’s cellar) - for about 2 days.
- Dry them with a towel.
- Cut peppers in half, discarding seeds.
- Heat oil in frying pan.
- Add peppers to oil to fry, quickly flipping them.
- Remove once they crisp up.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Let fully cool before enjoying!
