Ingredients
Cookie Dough
- Flour3cups
- Egg Yolks3
- Crisco Shortening1cup
- Sour Cream1cup
- Dry Yeast(non-quick rising)1package
Nut Mixture
- Sugar1 1/4cups
- Nuts(chopped)1/2cup
- Cinnamon1/4tsp
- Cocoa2tbsp

A rolled cookie with a sweet nut filling.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the flour and dry yeast together in a large bowl.
- Add Crisco with a pastry cutter.
- Mix in sour cream, mix very well.
- Mix in egg yolks.
- Roll mixture into 2 inch balls.
- Combine all the ingredients of the nut mixture in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle the nut mixture evenly onto a clean and dry surface.
- Roll each dough ball through the nut mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
- Roll the dough out with a rolling pin.
- Cut each piece of dough into 2 inch squares.
- Roll each piece of dough like a crescent roll.
- Place on a greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
- Bake 15-20 minutes.
- Let cookies fully cool before enjoying!
