Peaches in Wine

  • Ripe Juicy Peaches(or nectarines)
    7large
  • Wine(Hearty Red Wine)
    1bottle
  • Sugar(to taste (optional))

A simple Italian dessert best served after a heavy pasta dinner.

Instructions

  1. Wash peaches. Peel if desired then slice.
  2. Sweeten to taste with sugar, if desired.
  3. Divide peaches evenly between 4 to 6 wine glasses.
  4. Pour wine over peaches to cover.
  5. Refrigerate for a few hours.
  6. Serve Chilled.
