Spinach Bread

  • Pizza Dough
    4lbs
  • Spinach
    1bag
  • Italian Sausage
    1lb
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
    1cup

Pizza dough stuffed with savory sausage, spinach, and parmesan cheese.

Instructions

  1. Remove sausage from casings and crumble in a frying pan.
  2. Fry until no longer pink, drain.
  3. Wash spinach and squeeze out water.
  4. Remove sausage to bowl.
  5. Add spinach to frying pan and fry until wilted.
  6. Drain spinach.
  7. Add to sausage and mix.
  8. Roll out 2 lbs of dough at a time into a rectangle shape.
  9. Add 1/2 filling to one half of dough.
  10. Sprinkle over a 1/2 cup grated cheese.
  11. Fold over dough to cover filling.
  12. Seal all sides.
  13. Set aside and cover with a towel to let rise. About 30 to 45 minutes.
  14. Preheat oven to 375.
  15. Bake breads for about 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  16. Slice and serve warm.
